Meeting between delegates of La Trobe University and UoC

Prof. Kshanika Hirimburegama, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Colombo met Prof. Brain McGaw, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering of the La Trobe University on 05 September 2011 at College House, University of Colombo. Mr. Nandi Lakshman, Senior International Officer of La Trobe University, Prof. T.R Ariyaratne Dean, Faculty of Science, University of Colombo, Dr. Shravika Damunupola Amarsekara, Acting Director of the International Unit of the University of Colombo, and Ms. Nilmini Elapatha, Director of the Bandaranaike Center for International Studies were also present.

Both universities expressed their pleasure about the successful cooperation between the universities so far and also agreed to strengthen the existing student exchange programmes. New avenues of collaboration in the fields of science and technology, e-learning, Agribio and entrepreneurship were also discussed.
