University of Colombo Institute for Agro-technology and Rural Sciences, Weligatta, Hambantota received an award at the Agribusiness Awards 2011 organized by the National Agribusiness Council for the services provided for Sri Lankan Farming community by technology transferring through tissue culture banana and knowledge transferring through online Agro-technology Diploma Programme.
